Integration of the past & reconnection with the present

Rediscover a sense of presence and joy after difficult life events, trauma or crises.

Processing trauma

Life sometimes brings experiences that shake our self-image, our relationships or our sense of security. They may come in the form of loss, separation, illness, trauma, failures or other events that can leave deep traces. Even as life moves on, such experiences can continue to affect how we think, feel and relate to others.

Integrating a difficult life event does not mean forgetting or minimizing what happened. Rather, it is about gradually creating meaning and context around the experience so that it becomes part of the life story without continuing to control the present. Therapy provides space to process emotions, understand reactions and explore how the event has affected identity, relationships and faith in the future. The goal is that what was previously experienced as overwhelming can be given a place in life without limiting the possibility of living on, developing and being at ease.
