Emma Tussig

Licensed psychologist specializing in psychodynamic therapy and clinical hypnosis

My degree in psychology is from the University of Gothenburg and I am trained in both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy (PDT). After graduating in 2016, I worked within specialist psychiatric services, supporting individuals with psychotic disorders and complex mental health difficulties.

Since 2021, I have been working in private practice, providing individual psychotherapy to adolescents and adults. My approach is characterized by curiosity, respect, and a commitment to creating a safe therapeutic relationship that allows space for both understanding and change. In addition to psychotherapy, I provide professional supervision for healthcare and social care professionals. I offer sessions in Swedish, English, and French.

I am currently pursuing further specialist training at Stockholm University in psychodynamic psychotherapy. Since 2024, I have been certified in clinical hypnosis by the Swedish Society for Clinical Hypnosis, where I also serve as a trainer and board member. I use hypnosis as a complement to psychological treatment when it is considered helpful and appropriate for the individual.
